After hinting about the possibility earlier this week. New York Governor Andrew Cuomo is making new COVID restrictions a reality. He announced that starting Monday, indoor dining will be prohibited in New York City restaurants.

Hospitalizations have not stabilized, and with a rising infection rate and NYC’s density, this means that indoor dining is too high of a risk.
Takeout, delivery and outdoor dining will continue.
This coincides with another coronavirus milestone: the first vaccine doses are also expected to start arriving here at the beginning of next week.
