Staten Island Families Grieve Loved Ones Lost to COVID, While Others Buck Under COVID Restrictions

Of about twenty deaths each day in New York City of COVID, about a quarter of them are now occurring in Staten Island — even though just about a fifth of the city’s population lives there. But even as hospitalizations climb, residents are bucking under social distancing restrictions.
