Mayor O'Dwyer addresses the audience. Encourages people to keep the memory of those who died in their memories and souls so they can say "that beauty for which you paid the full sacrifice ... is something that we will protect."

The audience is told not to applaud in the temple.

A second, unnamed speaker (Lt. Col. Richmond?) also speaks on Veterans and fighting "the battle of peace." "Suspicion, fear and distrust have already arisen."

Owen Brewster is introduced and speaks on peace.
