Bloomberg's Belated "Stop and Frisk" Apology

Shortly after dipping his toe in the presidential race, Michael Bloomberg apologized for the NYPD's controversial use of "stop and frisk," saying his signature policing policy was "wrong."
Christina Greer, co-host of the New York politics podcast FAQ NYC, and Brigid Bergin, City Hall and politics reporter for WNYC, discuss the apology, which critics are saying amounts to pandering.
Plus Stephen Benjamin, Mayor of Columbia, South Carolina, defends Bloomberg, saying the apology "showed strength."
This weekend prospective candidate Michael Bloomberg apologized for stop and frisk, saying he was wrong. If your life was affected by the policy, call in and talk about -- do you accept his apology? Or way too little, way too late?

@brianlehrer -- @MikeBloomberg's hypocrisy screams. He claims to support environmental causes, yet he lives about as inefficient a lifestyle as a human can. How many mansions? Private jets? Wasteful living directly harmful to average people.
