On Monday, news broke that FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe was stepping down from his role. Just last month, The Washington Post reported that McCabe was planning to retire in March. Now he’s leaving over a month early.
In August, when McCabe was acting director of the FBI, President Trump sent a tweet that questioned why Attorney General Jeff Sessions hadn’t replaced McCabe, citing political ties between McCabe’s wife and Hillary Clinton.
Problem is that the acting head of the FBI & the person in charge of the Hillary investigation, Andrew McCabe, got $700,000 from H for wife!

Asked yesterday whether the president played any role in McCabe’s early ouster, White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders said that "the president wasn't part of this decision making process and we can refer you to the FBI where Christopher Wray serves as the director."
The move has raised questions about President Trump's relationship to the nation's top law enforcement agency. Zack Beauchamp is a senior reporter at Vox and host of Worldly, Vox's podcast on world politics and national security. He joins the program to talk about the implication's of McCabe's ouster, as well as how the potential fallout might influence Robert Mueller's ongoing investigation into the Trump Administration.
