Miriam Horn discusses her latest book, Rancher, Farmer, Fisherman: Conservation Heroes of the American Heartland, which looks at the men and women who at the forefront of environmental work, including restoring America’s grasslands, wildlife, soil, rivers, wetlands and oceans. She tells the stories of five Americans leading the movement: a Montana rancher, a Kansas farmer, a Mississippi riverman, a Louisiana shrimper and a Gulf fisherman.
