
Arguably the most exciting time to be a New York Knicks fan was during the 1990s. Many fans considered the time period the glory days of New York City basketball, even though it ended without a NBA championship. Teams feared playing Patrick Ewing, Charles Oakley and John Starks—not just because they were good, but because the team would also physically fighter other players on the court.
