New record set for fastest trip through entirety of NYC subway

It’s been a busy few weeks for the folks at the Guinness Book and record-seeking subway enthusiasts. Last month, former New Yorker Kate Jones broke the record for the fastest trip to visit all 472 subway stations. She completed the feat in 22 hours, 14 minutes and 10 seconds. This week, a new challenger entered the ring. WNYC’s Stephen Nessen went along for the ride.
