Members of New York City’s Caribbean communities are scrambling to collect vital supplies for survivors of Hurricane Beryl, which has left a path of devastation in several island nations.

Assemblymember Rodneyse Bichotte Hermelyn represents the largest Caribbean-American population in New York. She joined WNYC's Sean Carlson to discuss ways New Yorkers can help victims of the storm.
