When the COVID pandemic first hit the U.S., Holy Name Medical Center in Teaneck, New Jersey, was one of the area hospitals frequently cited as an 'epicenter' of the virus. Exhausted medical workers endured difficult conditions and long hours as ICU admissions strained capacity.
