A New Jersey man was among 14 people arrested by the Capitol Police during the siege in Washington on Wednesday. Leonard Guthrie of Cape May was charged with unlawful entry of the Capitol building.
Meanwhile Brooklyn’s Aaron Mostofsky, son of Brooklyn Supreme Court Judge Shlomo Mostofsky, was photographed inside the building wearing fur pelts and a bullet proof vest, but was not arrested.
Rita Palma of Suffolk County, who attended President Trump’s rally before the storming of the Capitol, says the MAGA movement won't end here. "There's no way that people like me who support him are just gonna go, 'OK, we’re good now,'" she said. "No, no, no, this is way bigger than that. Way bigger. It will continue. The mindset will continue."
Palma first became a Trump supporter because she opposes vaccine mandates.
