NYC's child care affordability crisis

As the cost of childcare continues to soar in New York City, it has become increasingly difficult, if not impossible, for many families to afford the coverage they need. But even as prices for childcare increase, many of the workers who provide that care are barely scraping by on minimal wages. Eliza Shapiro, metro reporter for the New York Times, joins WNYC host Michael Hill to talk about the crisis that families and care providers are experiencing.
