A NYC councilmember wants to bring some vendors back to city bridges

Vendors are no longer allowed on any of New York City's bridges since the Department of Transportation banned them at the start of the year.

But Councilmember Gale Brewer, who represents the Upper West Side, is sponsoring a bill that would allow them back on wider sections of the crossings.

Councilmember Brewer talked with WNYC's Tiffany Hanssen about her bill.
