Passing the Child Victims Act

The state legislature will be passing the long-delayed Child Victims Act on Monday. The bill raises the statutes of limitations for victims of child sexual abuse and creates a one-year window within which survivors would be able to initiate claims against their abusers in cases where the statue of limitations has expired.
