Planning for Paris Talks

Manhattan skyline is dark as the sun comes up on the morning after a massive power failure in 2003 caused the largest power outage in the nation's history, affecting 50 million people.

Negotiators from a number of countries are scheduled to meet in Paris this December to iron out a global agreement on reducing greenhouse gas emissions.

Bill McKibben, founder and senior advisor to 350.org and author most recently of Oil and Honey: The Education of an Unlikely Activist (Times Books, 2013), and Naomi Klein, syndicated columnist for The Nation and The Guardian and author of Shock Doctrine, No Logo and (now in paperback) author of This Changes Everything: Capitalism vs. The Climate (Simon & Schuster, 2015), talk about tomorrow’s event that’s part of their preparations for the next round of Paris climate change talks.
