Raise Your Hand if You Still Believe in the American Dream

An NBC/Esquire poll found that women are angrier than men, that white people are angrier than black people, and that black people are more confident in the American dream than white people.
Here are some exact numbers:
- 77% of Republicans get angry at least once a day, compared to 67% of Democrats
- 73% of white people say they get angry at least once a day, compared to 56% of black people and 66% of Hispanic people
- 45% of black people say they believe in the American Dream, compared to only 35% of white and Hispanic people

@BrianLehrer Everyone is angrier (especially "Millenials") because we're better informed now.

@BrianLehrer access to more information does not necessarily mean better informed, sometimes it's just more of the same.

@BrianLehrer 1. It's all about racism. If you are a racist white person the past eight years must have been hard for you...

@BrianLehrer Whites don't get much real exposure to the other side and vice versa. Lack of exposure creates lack of understanding.
