Jaron Lanier, an interdisciplinary scientist at Microsoft, joins us to discuss his book Dawn of the New Everything: Encounters with Reality and Virtual Reality. Lanier is considered the father of virtual reality, and he explores how VR can make our lives richer and fuller in the book, which is a mix of memoir, scientific writing and philosophy.
