Exposing the True Cost of Living in a Security State

U.S. President George W. Bush signs the H.R. 3199, USA PATRIOT and Terrorism Prevention Reauthorization Act of 2005 in the East Room at the White House March 8, 2006 in Washington DC.

Karen Greenberg, director of the Center on National Security at Fordham University School of Law, examined how the War on Terror enabled a decade-long assault on Constitutional rights - from the Patriot Act and NSA surveillance, to targeted killings and drone strikes. In Rogue Justice: The Making of the Security State, she questions whether it will ever be possible to restore civil liberties to the way they were prior to 9/11.

Event:  The Center on National Security at Fordham Law School is hosting a discussion with Director Karen Greenberg on Wednesday, June 1 at 6 p.m. (Fordham Law School, 2nd FLOOR, 150 WEST 62nd STREET). To RSVP, click here
