Sandy Mindell Discusses Computer Fraud

This card was used to load software into an old mainframe computer.

Sandy Mindell of the Computer Fraud and Protection Bureau of New York State's Attorney General's Office, discusses the pros and cons of computerized dating services. Dating services tend to be highly inaccurate and collect a lot of personal information from their clients, some of which could be leaked or compromised.

The second topic of discussion is about how schools are beginning to teach computers. Some schools have taken to false advertising, promising student loans, or offering quality computer education where there is none.
