New York chapter of the Sons of the American Revolution's annual Constitution Day observance. Includes presentation of the original draft of Washington's farewell address.

Mr. Garner Osborne, of the Sons of the American Revolution, introduces Col. Henry Darlington, who gives the invocation. Albert B. Corey, the state historian, and Dr. Charles Gosnell, the state librarian, unveil the document while Osborne reads a message from Governor Dewey.

John W. Finger, the president of the New York chapter of the Sons of the American Revolution, tells the audience the correct provenance of Washington's farewell speech and echoes the current president's appeal to think of the founding fathers in regard to current events.

President General of the National Society of the Sons of the American Revolution, Mr. Alan L. Oliver, delivers the main address.
