Lisa Miller, contributing editor for New York Magazine, joins us to talk about her cover story, “The Great Gun Exchange,” which looks at the efforts of 16 strangers—some who say guns saved their lives, others who lost their children to gun violence— to find common ground as part of a story exchange organized in partnership with the nonprofit group Narrative 4. Miller will be joined by Colum McCann, co-founder of Narrative 4 and bestselling author of the National Book Award-winning Let the Great World Spin, who will discuss his mission to build empathy through storytelling.
