Summer Cooking, Food Can Be Beautiful

Inspired by a recent art exhibit, Listen to Nutrition host Iva Bennett explains the importance of displaying good food beautifully, "In most pleasures we have in life, a good share of the actual enjoyment comes from anticipation. That's why every dish you prepare and serve should be as attractive to look at as it is to eat."

She provides some suggestions, for example, pouring canned tomato soup and can pea soup in a serving bowl at opposite ends to create the visual "trick" of soup that is half scarlet and half green.

This recording is part of a "Summer Cooking" series, but not meant for broadcast.
