SCOTUS Rules in Favor of Obamacare Subsidies
The decision is in in King vs. Burwell: The Supreme Court voted 6-3 in favor of subsidies for people to buy health insurance through the federal health exchanges through the Affordable Care Act. WNYC host Jami Floyd discusses the win for President Obama and his signature legislative achievement.
Some quick facts: Chief Justice Roberts wrote the decision; the court ruled 6-3 in favor; & nothing changes in the law. It remains as is.
