This week, discussions of government shutdown and the president's outline for a new tax plan have revived a host of metaphors about how the government manages money and levies taxes. Cognitive linguist George Lakoff joins Brooke to make sense of these fiscal terms and explain how they actually distort the role of government (and suggests some other words to use instead).
