This episode of The Constant Invader, narrated by Vincent Price, begins in the doctor's office of Dr. Carter. Jim Osgood has just gotten a chest x-ray and tells Dr. Carter about all the information he and his family have received about tuberculosis through efforts of the local Tuberculosis Association.

When Jim returns for his results, he reveals that what inspired him to get checked was a nagging suspicion that his co-worker has contracted the disease. Dr. Carter arranges for a survey team to visit Jim's factory where they find his co-worker is indeed infected. Dr. Carter assures Jim that he did the right thing to break the chain of further infection.
