Jonathan Morduch, Professor of Public Policy and Economics at the New York University Wagner Graduate School of Public Service, joins us to discuss his new book, The Financial Diaries: How American Families Cope in a World of Uncertainty. Using data from a project that tracked 235 low- and moderate-income households over the course of a year, Morduch examines how families spend or save their money.
