Ty Segall's New 'Mr. Face' EP Doubles As 3D Glasses

Ty Segall's new 'Mr.Face' EP is out Jan. 13.

Prolific garage-rocker, Ty Segall is always up to something. For his latest shenanigans, he's releasing new EP Mr. Face January 13, just months after his seventh full length album ManipulatorThe best part? Mr. Face is the world's first playable pair of 3D glasses. For those slow to new "3D technology" the EP is pressed on translucent red and blue vinyl that when held up to your eyes, the two 7" records double as 3D glasses meant for the album's 3D artwork.

Just in case you want to actually play the EP and wear 3D glasses, it comes with exclusive Mr. Face 3D glasses.

Manipulator was a bit tame for the hair-flinging, lo-fi king, showcasing Segall's stunning musicianship with soaring glam rock melodies and impressive guitar riffs. But an experimental dip back into Segall's earlier, less polished days would be refreshing. This EP should be a transition into Segall's next era or a tangent from the typical. Hearing "Circles" from Mr. Face, means the album could touchback to Segall's early gritty fuzz with a few sneers on the side.

Mr. Face Tracklist:

1. Mr. Face
2. Circles
3. Drug Mugger
4. The Picture
