.

Wagner is also questioned about his plans for his own political future. He replies that he works day to day and does not look years into the future.

A brief period of dead air - seems to be a conference setting up for television interview portion.

Mayor Wagner is questioned about the likelihood that New York City's problems will be addressed now that there is a Democratic majority in the state government.

Questioned again about plans to run for governor of New York state. Answers that he does not have any plans to do so.

Wagner is heard getting advice from an unidentified speaker (perhaps the interviewer?) about how to answer questions related to his relationship with Robert Kennedy. Immediately after this, the interviewer asks if Wagner is at risk of losing his role as titular head of the Democratic party in New York now that Robert Kennedy is in office. Replies with an example suggested by an unidentified speaker.
