Tonight's gubernatorial debate between Republican Marc Molinaro and Democrat Andrew Cuomo was taped earlier this afternoon, and is airing on WCBS television and radio at 7 p.m. WNYC's Albany reporter, Fred Mogul, will have analysis of the debate Wednesday on Morning Edition.
A Spanish language version is available here.
Former Syracuse Mayor Stephanie Miner, Libertarian Larry Sharpe, and the Green Party's Howie Hawkins, all gubernatorial candidates who will appear on the November 6 ballot, were excluded from tonight's debate.
A second debate hosted by the League of Women Voters of New York will take place on November 1 in Albany. A spokesman for Cuomo's campaign has not said whether the governor would participate.
