The Canadian singer and songwriter Tamara Lindeman records as The Weather Station. Under that name she’s released seven albums of literate, evocative songs; her lyrics often don’t follow the rhyming schemes and repetitions of most songs and instead read more like prose poems. That’s the case with the song, “Body Moves,” which has a relaxed folk-rock groove with ethereal electronics soaring overhead. Lindeman’s voice, often compared to Joni Mitchell’s, has a soothing quality that is only slightly undercut by the song’s tale of how we can be fooled or betrayed by our own eyes and bodies. The Weather Station plays April 1 at Bowery Ballroom, and April 2 at Music Hall of Williamsburg.
