On this week's look ahead: Election Day is Tuesday. If you haven't voted yet (and in New York City, over 60,000 of you have), it's your chance to weigh in on city ballot questions (read up on them here), among other issues. In New Jersey, all 80 Assembly seats are on the ballot, and Jersey City has a referendum question about short-term rentals (more on that issue from reporter Gwynne Hogan on Monday's Brian Lehrer Show.) We're also taking a look at how humpback whales might be affected by the giant wind farms New York is proposing, the DOC NYC film festival, and NYC Marathon clean up.
Are you #running in the #TCSNYCMarathon tomorrow? Recycle and reduce waste! Put your banana peels in the brown bin & help us make #DSNYCompost. Stripping off layers of clothing? Put them in the @GoodwillNYNJ blue bin to save them from going to a landfill! @nyrr pic.twitter.com/x59DKA4FRq
