
Ebola has arrived in this region, and it presents a test for three area executives: Mayor Bill de Blasio, New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo, and New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie. De Blasio is urging calm and praising city health officials, but the two governors want more — they're ordering mandatory quarantines for anyone who has come into contact with an Ebola victim flying into area airports. That means the rules of New York and New Jersey will supercede those of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
