'Wild Girls' Follows Women Rebels of the 1950s

Novelist, professor, journalist and film critic Erica Abeel talks about her book, Wild Girls, a novel inspired by her own life. She tells the stories of three women who came of age in the 1950s and chose unconventional paths, from living with the Beats and Allen Ginsberg in Paris, to an artist inspired by Yoko Ono, Abeel's roommate during the early 1960s.
Event: Erica Abeel will be speaking and signing books at The Corner Bookstore (1313 Madison Ave at 93rd St.) on Wednesday, October 26th at 6 p.m.
