Winter is back!
A winter weather advisory is in effect for the New York metro area until 2 a.m. Saturday. A total of 6 inches could fall across the city, northern New Jersey, and on Long Island.
Forecasters say a swath from Philadelphia to Connecticut will see enough snow to force the plows back onto the roads.
Even Boston, which has received a record 108.6 inches of snow this winter, could get an inch or 2.
Subway and commuter rail delays and conditions can be found here. NJ transit alerts can be found here.
There are also some school closures and early dismissals in our area because of today's weather.
