A stirring open of the national anthem gave way to attacks on Hillary Clinton and illegal immigrants during the first night of the Republican National Convention.  After more than two hours, Donald Trump walked onto the stage and introduced his wife, Melania, who then assured the crowd they would bring love and kindness to the White House.
