With performance venues closed during the pandemic, many musicians are struggling. Now our sister station, WQXR, is trying to help offset some of that disruption, with a project they call the "Artist Propulsion Lab." As part of the project, we're hearing some of the artists' music on Morning Edition. Today, we're featuring several pieces by mezzo-soprano Kara Dugan. She spoke with WNYC's Michael Hill about her musical career, the pandemic, and when performances might get going again.
