too soon and too erratic to know yet.

yes--also, i meditate in bed in the morning now.

What did you learn about your sleep patterns once you started tracking them? :
As a semi-retiree, I didn't really realize how much my sleep patterns vary between the days I work (Tuesday-Thursday) and the days I don't (Friday-Monday) and what impact the lack of sleep on the nights before I work has on the other nights.
Have you tried to change any of your behavior as a result of this study? :
I'm trying not to nap in the afternoon and I'm more aware of avoiding caffeine in the afternoons and evenings.

It's too soon to say- but tonight I've chosen a cup of tea instead of a glass of wine.

I started tracking in March when I got a fitbit and was shocked to see just how little sleep I am getting!
Have you tried to change any of your behavior as a result of this study? :
I have tried to go to bed earlier, but often I fail... Too much to do and catch up on once the kids are asleep so I never can have more than 6 hours in the best case scenario I fear...

I regularly get to bed about an hour later than I would like. I also found that I need 8 - 8 1/2 hrs sleep. I'm getting about 7 hrs on average.

I'm trying to get to bed earlier but invariably don't

What did you learn about your sleep patterns once you started tracking them? :
That the amount of sleep I'm getting is on average with the other participants. I did not really understand the basis or conclusions of the sleep efficiency chart, however. It's not really evident to me.
Have you tried to change any of your behavior as a result of this study? :
I haven't really had time. I'm just flying by the seat of my pants and trying to get as much sleep in as I can in between.

I get less sleep than I thought I did. I really thought I was getting my 8 hours, but I'm only getting 7.25.
