What did you learn about your sleep patterns once you started tracking them? :
Still too early to tell.
For people who don't consume any type of caffeine, it would be more accurate to include "none' under the How Much Coffee did you drink today"
Changes in sleep because of illness are variables that need to be factored in.

It's all about when I go to bed, and has little to do with exercise, naps or caffeine.
Have you tried to change any of your behavior as a result of this study? :
Yes, I've tried to be more mindful about getting to sleep at a consistent time. Having the phone alert (from the app) has actually been very helpful in reminding me to go to bed.

Yes - getting to bed earlier and monitoring my energy level on days I have had more sleep

It confirmed that Sunday night (on the verge of a new work week) is when I am likely to have the most sleep disruption - planning for the week to come. It also confirmed that my sleep patterns and efficiency are generally pretty sound.

I'm looking for strategies to improve Sunday night sleeping patterns.

How your sleep has changed :
Being more aware of how little sleep I was getting has got me thinking about the impact it is having on my daily life. From weight gain to lack of energy and motivation, this is not a healthy way to live.
What did you learn about your sleep patterns once you started tracking them? :
I'm getting even less than I thought. TV is a big factor, trying to catch up late-night on shows I've missed while putting kids to bed.
Have you tried to change any of your behavior as a result of this study? :
Trying to get my behind to bed earlier! Not that it's the best way, but I have also let myself just fall asleep on the couch a few times the past week and I end up getting more sleep than if I made myself stay awake to watch whatever show I decided I had to see.

Yes, I'm getting more sleep
How your sleep has changed :
I'm more conscious of not trying to go to bed too early, because when I'm tired but not really ready for sleep, then I become frustrated if I lie there trying to sleep but not fully relaxed enough to sleep.
What did you learn about your sleep patterns once you started tracking them? :
I alternate between nights of sleeplessness and nights of long, good rest.
Have you tried to change any of your behavior as a result of this study? :
I'm more aware of how relaxed I truly am before turning out the lights, instead of trying to get to sleep at a particular time.

I sleep less when I am very stressed. I sleep less when I am bored.
Have you tried to change any of your behavior as a result of this study? :
Not yet. I have just changed jobs, so it might take a couple more weeks to determine if I am in a "normal" pattern.

I leaarned I'm sleeping less than I thought and would like to change that.

I have been unsuccessful but hope to go to sleep earlier to increase my sleep.

they are fairly regular. it's actually fairly boring to enter the data each morning because it is so much the same.

I knew that I was getting good sleep anyways. I didn't have trouble falling asleep, nor do I have problems staying asleep.

I'm paying more attention to how much sleep I'm getting. I also make sure I don't sleep too late.
