Hiking in Yosemite Valley in early September. I admit to using a filter, but only because the image then better matched the appearance to the eye on site.

On another note, for a contest built around submitting phone photos, this page is shockingly unresponsive on mobile browsers. Using Chrome on an Android device, none of the text fields were operational.
