WNYC is a media sponsor of the 3rd annual City of Water Day celebration.

This day aims to embrace the water that surrounds New York City, and commemorate it’s waterways and waterfronts. Festivities include kayaking, boat tours, and live music. Families are invited to eat, relax, listen to music, participate in water-related activities, while enjoying the view of the harbor from Governors Island, Liberty State Park, NJ, Brooklyn Bridge Park, NYC and Atlantic Basin.
