WNYC is a media partner for Slice Out Hunger, an annual event run by pizza lovers for pizza lovers.

This year's event will be on October 8 at St Anthony's Church at 154 Sullivan Street in Soho. Tickets are available at the door for $1 each and may be exchanged inside for a slice of pizza, a soda, a dessert item from Brewla Bars or a raffle ticket.

Tickets may not be purchased in advance and pizza is served on a first come, first served basis.

The event is entirely volunteer-run and 100% of the proceeds go directly to Food Bank For New York City.

Doors open at 6 PM and close when the pizza runs out!
