WNYC is a media partner of Target First Saturdays at the Brooklyn Museum, celebrating Pride Month by connecting the experiences of lesbian, transgender, queer, and intersex people in South Africa to Brooklyn's own LGBTQ communities.
Highlights include performances by New York City Gay Men's Chorus and Malportado Kids, screenings of Mala Mala and Trans Lives Matter! Justice for Islan Nettles, and a community talk by Arnold Lehman, Shelby White and Leon Levy, Director of teh Brooklyn Museum.
