Bravo Debuts Its First Scripted Series
The cable network Bravo is known for producing reality shows like the “Real Housewives” series, “Queer Eye for the Straight Guy” and “The Millionaire Matchmaker.” Now Bravo is out with its first scripted show, “Girlfriends’ Guide to Divorce.”
The series follows Abby McCarthy, a freshly divorced self-help guru who is hiding her divorce from the public eye. NPR’s TV critic Eric Deggans talks with Here & Now’s Jeremy Hobson about the new show and the controversy surrounding its ads.
