Interview with Louis Falstein, author of "Face of a Hero." The novel is about combat on the Italian front.

It has been suggested that Joseph Heller's Catch 22 bears "an amazing similarity of characters, personality traits, eccentricities, physical descriptions, personnel injuries and incidents" to Falstein's "Face of a Hero." Heller's novel was published ten years after Falstein's.
