Gig Alert: Arlo Guthrie at Carnegie Hall, Sat. 11/25
Tickets: $12.50-75. Show at 8PM.

It was 50 years ago that folk singer Arlo Guthrie first performed on stage at Carnegie Hall. Over the years he’s made it an annual Thanksgiving tradition – taking the stage with his musical friends and of course his family, including Cathy and Annie Guthrie, as well as his children Abe & Sarah Lee, all gifted performers. Why does he pick Thanksgiving? Because it was on a Thanksgiving day all those years ago that the incident occurred that would become his most famous song – "Alice’s Restaurant." Arlo Guthrie performs his annual Thanksgiving weekend show at Carnegie Hall tomorrow night.
