Cindy Wilson is a vocalist, songwriter, and a founding member of new wave dance-rock band, The B-52's. Wilson has finally, 40 years into her career, released her first solo album. It’s called Change, and is it ever. The music incorporates the sounds of synths & strings, and touches upon disco, while allowing for her to explore a greater vocal range and styles, showing quite a different side, than say "Rock Lobster" or "Love Shack."

Cindy Wilson, one of the founding members & singers for The B-52's, performs tonight at the Bell House in Brooklyn in a benefit for Planned Parenthood NY.
