The Go! Team is an English indie-pop band that has often used a complex web of samples of other people’s music in building their own songs. They’re serious about what they do, but they also have fun doing it – one of the inspirations for the band when they started in 2004 was double Dutch chant … you know, the stuff that kids sing when they’re skipping rope. The Go! Team’s newest album was done in collaboration with the Detroit Youth Choir, who lead the way in this track called "Semicircle Song." The Go! Team plays tonight at Le Poisson Rouge.
