The Cycle of Rage Between Islamists and Right-Wing Extremists

Julia Ebner, London-based terrorism and extremism researcher, research fellow at the Institute for Strategic Dialogue, a global fellow at the Project for the Study of the 21st Century and the author of The Rage: The Vicious Circle of Islamist and Far Right Extremism (I.B. Tauris & Co Ltd, 2018), argues that opposing extremists, Islamists and the far right, have created a cycle of rage that serves both groups' political aims while threatening liberal democracies.
