The Chicago band called The Sea and Cake is a part-time endeavor, because the three central members of the band are all full-time members of other groups. Their music is a dreamy brand of indie rock – often acoustic, and occasionally colored with elements of jazz and electronic music. The Sea and Cake play tonight at Elsewhere in Brooklyn.
