Politicians Offer Condolences to Kennedy Family

Area elected officials are offering their condolences to the family of Senator Edward Kennedy.

REPORTER: New York Attorney General Andrew Cuomo said Kennedy "fearlessly challenged this country to be better."

Connecticut Senator Chris Dodd said this:

DODD: For decades to come history will talk about his legislative accomplishments and the difference he made in public policy. For me, I lost my best friend in the senate.

REPORTER: New Jersey Governor Jon Corzine writes he leaves an unmatched legacy of contributions, especially on healthcare, to all Americans. He will be truly missed, but his dreams will never die.
